this is sumthin that the woman I babysit with said in my card and I thought I would share it with you guys

"Always stay close to the Lord he truly is a wonderful, amazing God and we are blessed that He is our King." I reread this yesterday because I was reading my birthday cards again and this thought struck me. "How often do I think about God and about how awesome and wonderful he is??" Well to tell the truth not very often! : ( I think that this should be embedded in our brains as Christians!! But for me at least it's not! I want to work on this! Just thought I would share this with you

Thats really cool, cause a few days ago I was in the car. And I looked outside at the sky. And the clouds looked really cool. And I was thinking
about how amazing God is to be able to create something so wonderful and cool looking!

I mean just look at the world and how beautiful it is!! How can people think that it came around by evolution!!! it's behond my brain capacity! I mean evolution TAKES MORE faith than being a Christian!! I mean why not just take the way that MAKES SENSE instead of spending time trying to convince your self that it came by chance?? I just don't get it

The thought that everything was created by a huge 'bang' is really crazy.
God created everything perfectly.
And that didn't happen just a considence (sp?). You look at all the animals...the way they all live if perfected. And if
it would be any different, they would die...

I know! I mean I think that it's insane that they say we're wrong but it takes MORE FAITH to believe what they believe!
God made this world perfectly the way it needs to be!! Why try to give the credit of this beautiful world to chance?? and not to our awesome God??

I agree with you guys on a lot of things...but you know...a lot of christians believe in the big bang. It doesn't really contradict creation. But I don't really know much about it, so I can't really say much about it.

That's interesting, Amy. What do you all mean my "big bang"? Maybe you (Clareesa and Jordan) should define your terms... technically, you could call the beginning of creation "a big bang." (in the meaning of the word usually used, though, I don't believe in the big bang - don't get me wrong) Are you talking about evolution (animals changing from one to another), how the earth was created, or who created it? We have to be really careful talking about people and the things they belive without understanding them.
Of course, seeing the design and awesome beauty in nature and how it points to God is fine. We should. I totally agree with you guys on that.

There are Christians who believe a lot of things... there's "young earth creationists" "old earth creationists" and "theistic evolutionists". We could talk and talk... and sometimes not even be talking about the same thing!

That's my two cents. I'm not trying to step on toes. Please, don't take me wrong - I don't want to offend anybody. I've studied this subject a lot, and have changed a lot of my opinions.
